[As cliché and redundant as this sounds] it is so important that we remain true to ourselves at all times. Who we choose to become [whether ourselves or someone else] will determine our livelihood and impact. Living a life trying to follow the latest and greatest, is like living a life chasing smoke, because the parameters of what that is changes every day. We don't have to try to be someone else nor do we need to try to be different; we are already made different. There is so much we have to discover about ourselves and what we can do that wasting that energy on anything else is a waste of potential.
"Be yourself, everyone else is already taken."
- Oscar Wilde
I often tell brides every look during the wedding process is very important. Didn't believe us? How about now? Sure! She is marrying an A-list celebrity and there are certain expectations that come with that. But for the regular [non-celebrity] bride, the outfits worn during the wedding process could make it into family albums, be displayed at the wedding, go up on social media etc. And the last thing you want to do is cringe or bow your head in embarrassment thinking "what was I wearing?"
