First of all, don't beat yourself up about it. It has happened, at least you caught it quickly so you're good.
Like with most things, I like to go over the situation to see where I started falling off, and identify what to do next time in order to avoid it.
Next, don't let it linger for a day longer. I hate waste and have, in the past, continued to eat something I wasn't meant to be eating just so I wouldn't waste it. If there are unhealthy remains from the weekend, discard them appropriately.
Plan out your food for the coming days. This will help you not go back to unhealthy choices out of convenience.
And lastly, I suggest a detox of some sort, especially if the craving was sugar/carb-related (which is usually the case). I get really bad heartburn when I eat sugar or fried foods and I find that detoxing helps get rid of the side effects quicker and also of the craving. And the detox can be anything from warm water maybe with lemon to start off the day, eating salad and fresh foods or smoothies, a teatox etc.
I decided to do a teatox which will simply involve drinking a couple of cups of a detox tea (I'll be drinking Yogi detox tea) a day with my regular food and exercise routine. I normally drink at least 2 cups of herbal tea a day but this time I'll aim for at least 5.
