1. De-clutter your life
Clutter and negativity impact your psyche and not in a good way and you have the power to rid yourself of them.
2. Don't dwell on things that take away your joy, peace
When the thought comes, kick it out immediately coz the more time you give them, the more power they have over you.
3. Create the atmosphere you want--you're the only one who is responsible for your happiness
Don't really on someone else to make you happy coz they will fail.
4. Do things that make you happy; have fun
Figure out what makes you happy and do it often.
5. Don't take life too seriously
Do what you need to do to the best of your ability but also give yourself a break ever so often.
6. Live intentionally; have a plan; know where you're going
A plan helps you keep track of your progress and helps you hold yourself accountable.
7. Cultivate good habits
Sometimes we act like we have no control over our behavior and habits and say things like "that's just who I am" but we have the power to change if we take the time to cultivate the right habits.
8. Take care of your body
Eat healthy, exercise, moisturize...
9. Do what works for you
Its okay to try things out but figure out what works for you and be consistent with it. If you're always jumping from one fad to another, then you need to ask yourself what you need to change to be consistent.
10. Run your own race in life
Don't worry about what everyone else is doing; follow your own path, fulfill your own dreams, live your own life, run your own race.
11. Don't be too hard on yourself
Perfection is not a good goal, aim to be the best you can be without limiting yourself. But you're going to make mistakes, just learn from them and move on.
12. Take risks
Put yourself out there, step outside of the box, but be happy with the risks you take. And if you pass on something, make sure its not something you'll regret down the line. Living life too safe can result in regrets.
13. Do it when you think about it; say no to procrastination
When you think of something and postpone doing it, ask yourself why you can't just do it now. If you don't have a valid reason, then just do it!
14. Follow your dreams/passions/ideas. Go for it!
It makes life more interesting.
15. Practice excellence
Whatever you do, do it well. The more you practice excellence, the more naturally it'll come to you.
16. Ask for what you want and insist on it; the worst you can get is a "no"
Don't shy away from insisting on what you want. Sometimes all it takes is a little more effort.
17. Love well
When it feels right, don't hold back, give it all you've got.
18. Love yourself
Don't sacrifice your happiness; don't build your life around someone else.
19. Question your doubts
Sometimes doubts are an indication that we're going in the wrong direction.
20. Pay attention to your instinct/inner voice
Our instinct is not the only voice we hear, doubt also has a voice and so does fear, so you need to pay attention to make sure you follow the right voice.
21. Family is everything
Treasure the moments with family, tell them you love them often, do everything you will wish you did if they weren't around.
22. Love your own company
Being alone should not make you miserable.
23. Learn to love yourself
You are unique in your own way, learn to love yourself, flaws and all...
24. Don't hold grudges
For your own sake forgive people who offend you whether they apologize or not.
25. Make the right choice for you
People will always have an opinion about what you should do, but you need to know what you want and go for it.
26. Don't allow fear to control you
Fear can be crippling and allowing fear in one area of your life can affect every area of your life. Don't stop yourself from doing things because of fear; its not a good enough reason.
27. Have faith
Even when all seems lost, know that it is possible for things to turn around if only you'll believe.
