I love the fact that UN Women appointed a young celebrity to be a part of this cause. Young Hollywood today seems to be portraying things we wouldn't want to see our children do. Yet, these are the same ones that the youth idolize. So to see this young actress be a part of something worthwhile is refreshing.
Sometimes I worry about the future, I worry that our generation is not concerned enough with real issues, and I worry what that could translate to, I worry that we are gradually being desensitized to immorality...
With today's technology, it doesn't take much to make an impact. Do what you can, for this cause or any other. Women empowerment is a movement close to my heart and one of the reason behind Lucyenne.
