The polar vortex has been pretty brutal and one place that can easily show is on the skin. I already have a e already know our skincare routine needs a good moisturizer, lots of water, some steam, etc. And I covered that last winter.
So this time around, I wanted to get into the specifics of my own routine. I shy away from talking about specific products coz what works for me may not necessarily work for you.
But when I post the more general posts, I always get asked about specifics so I figured I'd skip the formalities and get straight to to it this time! So I'm sharing some products that I have gotten or using a lot of specifically this winter.
I got a sample of Murad water gel from Sephora with my points and once I went through it and switched back to my regular oil-free moisturizer, I noticed a difference.
Tried this serum--another Sephora reward, and loved it! So I made sure it was a part of my winter skincare. Truth is, it'll probably become a staple in my skincare regimen. I love that it is light, smells good, and gives me an amazing morning glow.
Essential oil diffuser
I originally got an essential oil diffuser for better sleep but I started noticing that my skin was looking pretty amazing in the morning.
I got a pack of essential oils and it has lavender, tea trea, frankincense, peppermint, lemon, rosemary, lemon.
I'm highkey obsessed with masks--sheet masks, mud masks, peel off masks, night masks, you name it, I love it!
I also opted for a more creamy face cleanser that would still get the job done without leaving my face feeling dry.
There's a creamy formula and a foaming formula. I went with the foaming formula coz I've used creamy cleansers that felt more like they were adding on product instead of cleansing.
