I'm a huge believer in things happening for a reason.
And even when plans don't go the way we thought they should, it all works out for our good in the end. So holding someone or something responsible for a situation in your life and dwelling in that moment--questioning and analyzing what happened and why, curling up in bed all day crying and watching chick flicks with a pint of Ben & Jerry's chocolate fudge browny ice cream--is giving them power that is not theirs to claim.
God has a plan for our lives and to execute that plan, He tugs and releases, separates and puts back together, breaks and makes, bends and molds, allows us to be pushed beyond what we think is our limit... And lets not forget the times where He does and redoes, covers and repairs, because we made decisions that we thought seemed more like it.
And in His grandeur, He orchestrates the pieces of our lives that will come together to fulfill our purpose.
So forgive the people and things you've blamed for one thing or another-- not in a "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" kind of way, but in a "this was out of your control" kind of way, coz it really was. The only power people or situations have over you is the power you give them when you allow them to control your mood, your peace, your productivity, your decisions, your outcome, your dreams,...
If you have allowed that to happen, its time to take your power back.
