After a week of rain, the sun is out and I can finally give my rain boots a break! So I thought I’d put together the most springish outfit!
While I was taking these pictures, I had a few people look and smile, and others drive by and stare. And normally, I'd try to act like I wasn't doing anything till they went by but this time I just kept going. Still felt awkward doing weird poses, but didn't really care that much that I might look silly to onlookers.
I've been pushing myself recently to be more consistent with taking pictures to create content for my blog, and I realized I am actually getting more confident about doing it, years and years and years later.
I think sometimes we want to wait till we are comfortable or get the courage to do something when as we wait, we are simply making the task appear even more daunting and intimidating. Instead, we should just start, without overthinking it, and accept the fact that we don't have to be perfect from the beginning, just give it our best, and get better each time. take the first step, and maybe a couple more, until we build the confidence to do it. Now I just need to try a really busy street next time.
Today’s work style outfit is as springish as it gets! Saw these floral pants online and was waiting for them to go on sale, so when I saw them in store on the sale rack, I was totally stoked! Decided to pair it this time with this coral top that I've had for a while now, I think I got it from JcPenney a couple of years ago--which is a great place to get work clothes. Can’t wait to try it with blush, white, fuschia...the possibilities are endless. If you want tips on choosing floral print to wear to work; check out “A little Print”.
