Don't worry guys, we got you covered too! This season, come out of your shell and try something daring.
Grey, Navy blue, Royal blue, Red, Burgundy, Purple, Olive Green, White etc.
Textures! Textures! Textures!
This season's fashion is rich in textures from corduroy to tweed, denim, leather, knits etc. and they don't always have to match, as long as they compliment rather than clash with each other, you're good to go.
And yes, I did say denim. Denim is still in! Wear your denim shirt with chinos, a tie, a blazer, a cardigan, under a sweater, you name it! Play with different textures and you could come up with some GQ worthy looks.
Mix & Mismatch! Pair a blazer with a wool plaid vest, a cable knit turtleneck with those tweed pants, a quilted sweater and a leather jacket... You're also allowed to play with patterns, so play on!
If your suits could hide stuff unnoticeably, it's time for an upgrade! This can be a hard process so give us a call for a boost ;-)
Who said you only had to wear black, navy blue or grey suits? Add some color to your suit collection with a bold suit!
The ever-trendy wardrobe staple--crisp white. Wear it with your colored suit to bring out the color, and button it all the way to the top sans tie. If you don't have a good white shirt, head straight to the mall after reading this.
Finish off your look with the appropriate outerwear whether a trench coat, a tweed jacket, a wool coat etc.
Neck wear, once considered formal wear, is now one of the easiest ways to add flair to an outfit. Stock up on trendy neckwear in velvets and knits, patterned and solids. And don't forget one of this year's favorite accessory, the lapel pin, especially the rosette lapel pin. Get it in every color possible and make your outfit effortlessly trendy.
Use neckwear to bring out your signature style whether by adding a knit tie to your denim shirt, a velvet bow tie to your bold suit or a statement scarf for the dual purpose of warmth and style.
If you haven't snagged yourself a pair of oxfords yet, might wanna get to it coz this trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. They come in all colors and even have colored soles for the fashion forward. Channel your inner Scot with brogue [or wingtip] oxfords. I encourage you not to shy away from brown leather shoes--they're the new black; they go with a lot more than you think.
If you're the uber laid back type, but still like to look trendy, get yourself some sleek looking sneakers. And feel free to add them to your suit when the occasion allows for it.
