I’ve had rain boots on my shopping list since my I got rid of my old ones a few years ago. But I’ve been holding out, hoping to find the perfect pair. Lately, I’ve been shopping around for it and I figured I’d share some of my findings. Whether you're more of the functional type, designer type, trendy type or versatile type, there's some options for you...
The Functional Rain Boot
Rain boots are functional in nature. We wear them to serve one purpose--to keep feet dry. So when you're thinking of a functional pair of rain boots, you're probably thinking, comfortable, durable, does the job,... Ain't nothing wrong with that. Because functional can still look cute.
The Designer Rain Boot
No one does designer rain gear like Burberry--at least in my opinion. The classic trench coat with the signature check lining peaking through and the matching boots, hello! I remember wanting a pair of the translucent check rain boots a couple of years ago. Never got 'em but I just my treat myself some day.

They do have some other styles that are not so hunter-y and construction-y, and if I were to go this route, it would look something like this...
The Versatile Rain Boot
My ideal pair of rain boots is that pair that you can wear throughout the day without feeling out of place when it stops raining, or needing to change to another pair to look presentable or professional. If it keeps my feet dry and looks cute, its a win-win.
